Our approach
Banin is designed to keep parenting routine information under your control. The app stores baby profiles, feeding entries, sleep entries, diaper entries, reminders, and preferences locally on your device. Banin does not use baby routine information for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use cross-app tracking.
iCloud Sync and caregiver sharing
If you enable iCloud Sync, supported profiles and routine entries are stored in your private Apple CloudKit database. Caregiver access uses Apple's CloudKit sharing controls, which you can grant and revoke at any time. The developer does not operate a server for these records and cannot view records in your private CloudKit database.
Subscriptions
Banin uses RevenueCat and Apple StoreKit to manage subscriptions. They may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase status, transaction details, and related diagnostics. Banin does not send baby routine-log contents to RevenueCat.
Notifications, recordings, and backups
- Reminders use local notifications created on your device.
- Custom sleep recordings remain local unless you explicitly share or export them.
- Exported family backup files are unencrypted files controlled by you and should be shared and stored carefully.
Your choices
You can disable iCloud Sync, delete local data, request deletion of supported CloudKit data, or delete the app entirely. Apple and RevenueCat may retain subscription transaction information as required for legal and operational purposes.
Not medical advice
Banin is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Contact an appropriate healthcare professional with health concerns, and local emergency services in an emergency.
